Brush Fire Burns Three Acres in San Jose

A grass fire Saturday burned about three acres near Almaden Quicksilver County Park south of San Jose in Santa Clara County, Cal Fire reported.

Firefighters from Cal Fire and the San Jose Fire Department responded to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The fire was contained by about 3:50 p.m., and firefighters remained on scene after that to mop up, Cal Fire said. There were no injuries, and no structures were damaged.
