Bryan Stow Friend to Walk Across Spain to Prevent Bullying

A 500-mile pilgrimage awaits Andrea Duncan, a friend of Bryan Stow, who plans to walk across northern Spain spreading the message of anti-bullying on the international stage.

Coining her excursion "Steps 4 Stow," Duncan, who used to live in Capitola, will walk 10 to 12 miles per day to honor Stow's story and spread the word about The Bryan Stow Foundation, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

Stow was brutally beaten after a Giants-Dodgers game in Los Angeles in 2011. Since that attack, he has been rehabilitating his injuries and speaking to students across Santa Cruz County about preventing bullying behavior.

Duncan will document her journey, which she plans to kick off on Friday, online each night. Donations can be made through The Bryan Stow Foundation.
