Entering the game hitting .206 with one home run and six RBI, Cabrera went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI Monday night, raising his average to .254. Designated hitter Victor Martinez also connected for a solo home run off Graveman.

The win snaps the Tigers' four-game losing streak and moves them to 9-9.

The A's offense pounded out nine hits, including two apiece from Josh Reddick and Jed Lowrie. Yonder Alonso drove in a run with his second double of the season, while Billy Burns and Mark Canha each drove in a run.
