Cal Hunger Strikers Forced to Leave

A group of UC Berkeley students on Day 8 of a hunger strike have been told they must leave or face arrest.

About 20 students have been going without food to try and urge the university to denounce Arizona's tough new immigration law. They are also making other including that the campus become a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants and that charges be dropped against fee hike protestors from earlier in the year.

University police told the group Monday morning that they must pack up camp and leave their posts because of their health.

The protesters are scheduled to hold a rally and news conference at 3:30 Monday afternoon in front of California Hall.
