A driver died on Friday morning after a black car rolled down a hill near Guadalupe Recycling & Disposal Facility, according to authorities.
Fire Captain Mitch Matlow said crews they found the car - and the driver inside — at 15900 block of Guadalupe Mines Road around 9:30 a.m., just west of Almaden Quicksilver County Park Trailhead.
The car rolled about 400 feet down a hill before settling on a lower road, Matlow said.
No other people were injured during this accident.
The cause of the accident is unknown. The driver has not been identified.
