Colin Kaepernick Predicted 49ers Success — In Fourth Grade

A fourth-grade Colin Kaepernick predicted himself on the 49ers.

Before the tattoos, before the stardom, there was a dream: a 6-foot-4, 140-pound body -- and a job playing football for the San Francisco 49ers.

A boy can dream -- and a boy can dream accurately, if he's named Colin Kaepernick. Mostly accurately, anyway.

The 49ers' star quarterback saw himself playing professional football in San Francisco way back in the fourth grade, the San Francisco Chronicle revealed.

In a letter written to himself as a 5-foot-2 fourth-grader, Kaepernick said "I think in 7 years I will be between 6ft- to 6ft 4 inches 140 pounds. I hope to go to a good college in football Then go to the pros and play on the niners or the packers even if they aren't good in seven years."

It took longer than seven years -- and thanks to Kaepernick, the Niners are quite good.
