Crews starting work on a construction project will slow traffic on the Peninsula.
In East Palo Alto, one-way traffic control on East Bayshore Road, between Pulgas Avenue and Laura Lane, started Wednesday. The traffic control will last through December.
Workers are replacing the East Bayshore Road bridge in the area.
The project will also close some lanes overnight on Highway 101 and the Embarcadero exit.
