Corporate Jet Headed for SJ, Loses Engine

A small corporate jet made an emergency landing Thursday morning at Sacramento International Airport after experiencing engine trouble.

The plane, which was carrying two people, was headed to San Jose on it's way to Vancouver, British Columbia.   He began the trip in Tucson, Arizona.

One of the plane's two engines went out.

The pilot of a Canadair CL60 declared an emergency due to an  inoperable right engine and diverted the plane to Sacramento around 5:45 a.m., FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.KCRA.com contributed to this report.
