San Francisco's brand new $2.2 billion Transbay Transit Center was shut down Tuesday after crews discovered a crack in one of its support beams.
The incident prompted street closures and swelled up an already busy evening commute.
All buses were rerouted and the old Transbay Terminal is now being used to help commuters.
