An East Bay Regional Park District police officer was injured in a crash on Interstate 880, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision reported at 3:15 p.m. Friday, just south of Alvarado Niles in Union City, shut down all northbound lanes of the freeway. Lanes reopened around 3:40 p.m.
No other information was immediately available.
