CreaTV wil be holding a Q&A event Monday, January 10, 2011 in San Jose at 10:30 a.m. The event will give the media a chance discover more about the organization.
The company has committed to purchasing $500,000 worth of digital media equipment which will be put in pre-K through grade 12 schools. The idea is to let kids have a hands-on experience with technology helping them become well-rounded 21st century workers.
Nine qualifying San Jose middle schools can choose between a portable studio or field kit, ten elementary schools will get field camera kits.
CreaTV San Jose is a non-profit community media center that manages San Jose's public and education channels on Comcast cable and online.
