CalFire and Alameda County fire crews battled a 20-acre brush fire Thursday morning in a remote region of the Sunol Regional Wilderness.
The fire sparked about 4:30 a.m. in heavy brush along a drainage ditch and a steep hillside, Cal Fire officials said.
No structures are threatened by the fire and no injuries have been reported.
