2 Injured After Falling 20 Feet From Bridge at Lexington Reservoir

Two people suffered injuries after falling 20 feet from a bridge at the Lexington Reservoir in Santa Clara County, officials said.

The incident on Tuesday afternoon occurred in the area of Alma Bridge and Soda Springs Road, at the reservoir's south shore. Firefighters said it is unclear if the victims, a female and male, fell from a rope bridge or rope swing.

The female victim was transported to a hospital with major injuries and the male victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
