Two people died early Thursday morning when a vehicle crashed just outside a house in unincorporated Contra Costa County, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
The crash was reported at 12:51 a.m. at 1 Wharf Drive, just off of Port Chicago Highway, in the community of Bay Point.
The crash involved a vehicle that went into the side of a house. CHP officials did not say if the fatalities were victims from the vehicle, the house, or both.
Further details were not immediately available.
