A shooting in San Francisco's Mission District early Tuesday morning has left one person dead and another person with injuries considered life-threatening, according to police.
San Francisco police said the shooting was reported around 3 a.m. near the intersection of 16th and Mission streets. Officers arrived on the scene to find two men who were shot. Both were transported to a hospital where one died.
Police said there are no suspects in custody. Anyone with any information on the case is asked to call San Francisco police at (415) 575-4444 or to text TIP411 and to begin the message with "SFPD".
