Deputies Find Domestic Violence Kidnapping Suspect and Victim in Sonoma County

UPDATE, 9 p.m. Tuesday: Suspect and victim have been located, sheriff's officials say.

Authorities in Sonoma County were searching for a suspect in a domestic violence kidnapping late Tuesday in the Guerneville area, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

Gilberto Valentin-Lopez, 41, is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and a beard, sheriff's officials said. He was last seen wearing a white hat, gray T-shirt and blue jeans.

The sheriff's office said Valentin-Lopez was last seen driving a white single cab pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, with at least three possible license plates: 62075F1, 08551H1, and 6K96325.

The victim is described only as a Hispanic female.

Anyone who sees Valentin-Lopez or any of the listed vehicles should call sheriff's dispatch at 911 or 707-565-2121. The sheriff's office advises people not to approach Valentin-Lopez as he's considered dangerous.
