Developer Proposes Biggest-Ever Office Park in San Jose

Up to 2 million square feet at $400 million complex.

Welcome to North San Jose -- a.k.a. the biggest office complex in the city.

"Iconic" realty firm Peery Arrillaga has submitted plans for a $400 million, 2 million square foot-large office complex in north San Jose, where up to 10,000 people could call work, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

The 20-acre site near Highway 101 would see the construction of 10 office buildings, each seven stories high. It's likely that they would be aiming for tech titans as tenants, as the likes of Apple, Google, Facebook and LinkedIn gobble up available space in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, the newspaper reported.

The company, one of Silicon Valley's most-recognized, has already built campuses for Apple and Hewlett-Packard, the newspaper reported.
