State Highway 1 in San Mateo County re-opened Tuesday afternoon after crews worked for most of the day shoring up a portion of roadway that was damaged by the recent storms.
One-way traffic control was in effect between Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica and the North Portal bridge area at Devil's Slide, according to Caltrans, which announced crews finished the work at 2:30 p.m.
Crews were working on stabilizing a portion of roadway in order to prevent further erosion.
