Double shooting follows 49er and Raiders game at Candlestick Park

Two people were shot in the parking lot of Candlestick Park, following a football game between the 49ers and the Raiders, San Francisco police said.

Both victims were taken to San Francisco General hospital, where one victim, a 24-year-old male, is suffering from life-threatening injuries. The other victim is a male in his 20s and has non-life threatening injuries.

Both men attended the game, but police say it is unclear if the shooting was related to any sort of team rivalry. Police have no suspect description and have not made any arrests in the case.

The San Francisco 49ers released a statement saying, "The San Francisco Police Department is investigating a shooting incident following Saturday's NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders outside Candlestick Park. No other information regarding the incident is available from the 49ers at this time."

Anyone with any information is urged to call SFPD.
