Downtown San Jose Clothier Shut Down for Crack Dealing

A San Jose merchant has been put out of business by police, who in addition to selling bunk merchandise was also selling crack out of his store, according to reports.

The San Jose Mercury News reports that Felix Osifo, who ran 4-You! Clothing in downtown San Jose, was discovered to be a crack merchant after a month-long police stakeout.

He was arrested Wednesday and is expected to be charged with drug trafficking as well as counterfeiting, the newspaper reported.

Police were tipped off to Osifo's side business about a month ago. Cops then observed people buying drugs at the shop on East Santa Clara Street, the newspaper reported.

And business was good.

"This was the place to get crack in downtown," one cop told the newspaper, adding that Osifo appeared to sell way more drugs than clothes.

This all came as a surprise to the owner of a nearby barbershop, who said Osifo "seemed like a nice guy," the newspaper reported.
