A suspected drunk driver was arrested Tuesday on charges of DUI, hit and run and resisting arrest after police say he slammed his car into several businesses in El Cerrito.
The 25-year-old driver lost control of his Honda Civic just after midnight on San Pablo Avenue near the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station. The car damaged several businesses, trees, garbage cans and benches.
No one was injured.A
