Folks love the novelty of the amphibious vehicle tours around the San Francisco. Tourists get to see the sites of both land and sea. Fun for all! Until the boat stalls in the middle of McCovey Cove.
Fire Department spokeswoman Lt. Mindy Talmadge told the Examiner that smoke was reported on the "Ride the Ducks" tour boat just before noon, Wednesday.
The boat stalled in the Cove and had to be towed back to shore by a tugboat.
No one was injured during the ordeal.
