E. Bay Woman Remembers Murdered Fiancé

Armed robbers shot and killed Fito Celedon in 2010

An emotional day for a Berkeley woman remembering her fiancés birthday and his death.

Armed robbers shot and killed 35 year old Fito Celedon September 12, 2010 at Adeline and Emerson.

Amber Nelson was with Celedon when he was killed.

She said they were walking home from a fabulous birthday celebration of dancing when two men approached them, shooting Celedon and punching her.

Nelson planted a garden near the place where Celedon was killed.

She spent his birthday tending flowers and talking to media and people passing by.

She is hoping her very public grief will convince someone to come forward with details police need to make an arrest.

Nelson says her fiancé's family in Chile is desperate for justice so they can close a difficult chapter and move on to remembering a son full of life and love.

Nelson who will turn 30 later this month says she is ready to move on as well. She is looking forward to an arrest and a conversation with the shooter.

The 29-year-old hopes to let him know how special Celedon was and how his murder has devastated people in many parts of the world.
