BART riders should be prepared for sporadic train closures in the East Bay starting Easter weekend.
BART officials said the closures will be between the Fruitvale and Coliseum stations through August. The closures will allow crews to do vital repairs to equipment and tracks between the two stations.
BART will provide a bus for customers who do not have other options to get between stations. There will be no additional charge for the bus.
Updates on which weekends the stations will be closed can be found on the BART website.
