FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday discussed how the FBI is countering criminal and national security cyberthreats to the U.S. and its citizens.

At the RSA Conference at San Francisco's Moscone Center, Wray was joined by security analyst Susan Hennessey in a chat about cyberthreats and technological challenges that face America.

At another security forum in July last year, Wray criticized President Donald Trump's comments that cast doubt on Russian interference in the election, NBC News reported.

"My view has not changed, which is that Russia attempted to interfere with the last election and that it continues to engage in malign influence operations to this day," Wray told NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt at the Aspen Security Forum.
