A person died Wednesday morning after a small boat crashed into a pier in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, fire officials said.
The crash was reported at 6:11 a.m. at Pier 52, according to San Francisco fire officials.
The body was recovered and no one else was believed to be on the boat, fire officials said. San Francisco police marine units have been using sonar in the water to make sure there’s nobody else in the water.
