Lanes Reopen on Highway 1 Near Half Moon Bay After Fatal Crash

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:24 p.m., and later cancelled at 9:21 p.m., according to the CHP.

State Highway 1 was closed near Half Moon Bay for nearly four hours Friday night due to a fatal crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

The crash was reported around 5 p.m. in the 2600 block of Highway 1 just north of Half Moon Bay in unincorporated San Mateo County, according to the CHP.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:24 p.m., and later cancelled at 9:21 p.m., according to the CHP.

Details about the crash and the victim were not immediately available.
