Fatal Stabbing in San Jose

But once police rolled him over, they realized he had been stabbed at least once in the chest. 

The man who appeared to be in his early 30s died later at the hospital. 

Friends of the victim have spoken with police but it's not clear how helpful they were in providing investigators with information about a suspect. 

Police do not believe this was a robbery.
