Fight Outside Santa Rosa Bar Leads to Stabbing, Two Arrests

A brawl outside a Santa Rosa bar Sunday morning led to a stabbing and two arrests, according to Santa Rosa police.

Officers responded at 1:31 a.m. to the Chrome Lotus Bar at 501 Mendocino Ave. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a physical altercation at the intersection of Mendocino Avenue and Seventh Street.

Officers said the fight was still going on when they arrived, and Troy Moore, 29, of Santa Rosa, was involved in a confrontation with several people leaving the bar.

Police said Moore punched a 25-year-old woman in the face, knocking her unconscious.
Police said the woman's boyfriend and Moore then got into a fight, and Moore stabbed the man twice in the upper body.

The man was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said they then came into contact with Wayne Patrick, 46, also of Santa Rosa, who was intoxicated and screaming gang challenges and threats at the stabbing victim's associates.

Moore was arrested on suspicion of battery with serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon and two felony gang enhancements.

Patrick was arrested on suspicion of challenging to fight in public and a gang enhancement.
