Alameda County Fire Department crews battled a vegetation fire in the unincorporated area of Sunol early Thursday morning, according to fire dispatch.
The blaze was first reported at midnight today in the 7400 block of Sheridan Road just south of Interstate Highway 680, fire officials said.
The flames burned a total of 7 acres and was 100 percent contained by 4 a.m.
No evacuations were reported.
