A fire that damaged a portable building at an elementary school in San Jose on Monday night is being considered suspicious in nature, a fire spokesman said Tuesday.
The one-alarm blaze was reported at 10:17 p.m. at Del Roble Elementary School, located at 5345 Avenida Almendros.
Firefighters isolated the flames to a portable building on campus and extinguished the fire with no injuries reported, San Jose fire Capt. Christopher Salcido said.
Salcido said arson investigators with the fire and police departments are investigating the blaze.
No other information about the fire was immediately available Tuesday morning.
