A fire in San Francisco Wednesday morning pumped a plume of black smoke into the air, according to fire officials.
The blaze was reported near the corner of 7th and Berry Streets, fire officials said. That location is believed to be a homeless encampment.
The flames have since been knocked down, and fire crews remained on scene to clean up the scene.
