A two-alarm fire ignited early Friday at a KFC restaurant in San Jose.
Flames sparked just before 4:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Cropley Avenue.
Fire officials said the origin of the fire is suspicious because flames sparked in the dining area, not the kitchen. Also, they are investigating reports that someone may have tossed a device into the eatery before fleeing the scene.
