Dozens of storage units were damaged in a two-alarm fire near the intersection of Highway 4 and Interstate 680 in Pacheco, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Department.
Firefighters late Tuesday afternoon responded to the blaze and were able to save 450 units of the 500-plus units at the storage facility. The fire was initially reported as a grass fire.
No injuries were reported.
