Firefighters in San Joaquin County late Wednesday continued to battle a brush fire near Tracy.
The so-called Hollow Fire off West Corral Hollow Road at the Carnegie State Vehicular Recreational Area had burned at least 283 acres and was 50% contained by late Wednesday night, according to Cal Fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
No other information was immediately available.
