1 Dead, 3 Others injured in San Bruno Fire

An NBC Bay Area crew has confirmed reports of injuries.

A two-year-old child died in a two-alarm house fire in San Bruno Friday morning, the city's fire department confirmed.

Three others are injured as a result of the blaze, which was reported at about 8:45 a.m. at a home in the 100 block of Lake Drive. San Bruno firefighters extinguished the fire shortly before 9 a.m.

A 20-year-old woman is in critical condition and a 69-year-old man was transported to a local hospital. A fire fighter was also injured while breaking glass on the scene, but his injuries are not life threatening.

Contruction workers working next door are being credited with rescuing a 30-year-old man before fire fighters arrived.

The cause of the fire is still unclear, but it originated in a hallway of the home.
