Five-Hour Police Standoff in San Jose Leaves No One Injured

A police standoff in a Berryessa community on Saturday had neighbors on edge.

The five-hour standoff started at 4:00 p.m. near the San Jose Municipal Golf Course.

Sunnyvale Police and San Jose Police Departments joined together to find the suspect with several felony warrants. After the suspect was found by a police dog, officials followed him into a San Jose home.

The incident took place near Hostetter Road and Lundy Avenue.

While residents were evacuated out of their homes for a few hours in the San Jose neighborhood, no one was injured.
