Five people and seven dogs were displaced Friday morning when a fire ripped through their East San Jose home, firefighters said.
The first-alarm blaze on Sundown Lane on 2 a.m. severely destroyed the garage area, firefighters said. It’s unclear why the fire started. Despite the damage, firefighters said there were no injuries reported.
