The old adage "15 will get you 20" is coming all too true for a former Stockton police officer.
John Krivokapich, 41, is facing 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges, according to reports.
The former 209-area-code lawman fell into hot water with the law after the mother of a 15-year old girl told police her daughter had received pornographic emails from Krivokapich.
He left the force in 2001, but was recognized by Stockton police as a former officer.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 8, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Once he is released from prison, he will work to pay off a $250,000 fine and be supervised by probation officers for the rest of his life.
