Three Los Angeles men and a man from Las Vegas were arrested last month in connection with a series of burglaries in San Francisco in which the suspects stole Apple products from FedEx delivery trucks, police said.

In the incidents, which occurred near the Stonestown, Marina and Stockton Street Apple retail locations between Dec. 5 and Jan. 11, witnesses observed a group of men attempting to or successfully breaking into FedEx trucks parked near the stores, according to police.

A white Chevy Astro van was reportedly seen nearby during the incidents.

After police investigators issued a notice to patrol units to look out for the van, a marked patrol unit observed a van matching the description and stopped the vehicle.

Police said that Apple products--later determined to have been stolen from a FedEx truck earlier in the day--were recovered from inside the van.

Los Angeles residents Jose Reyes, 52, Victor Morales, 45, and Angel Erazo, 55, and Las Vegas resident Eduardo Alvarez, 43, were arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of burglary and possession of stolen property, police said.

Investigators are working to determine if the men are behind additional thefts of high-end Apple products throughout the Bay Area.
