Four Thieves Make Off With Firearms After Crashing Car Into Petaluma Gun Store: Police

Police are seeking four people in connection with a burglary Saturday morning at a Petaluma gun store.

Around 7:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a burglary at Independence Armory located at 501 Lakeville St., according to police.

Police learned four suspects, all believed to be male, used a vehicle to strike the business and gain access into the building. Once inside, the suspects took numerous firearms, police said.

The suspects then fled in the vehicle.

Police described the suspect vehicle as a 1990s model, light green Honda Accord with a primer or white-colored driver side door.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspects and are asking people with information about the incident to contact Petaluma police officer Patrick Gerke at (707) 781-1225.
