Freezing Weather Floods Tahoe Casinos

The freezing tempoeratures were too much for antifreeze systems.

It's wet and not so wild in Lake Tahoe, where casinos are cleaning up flooding caused by freezing temperatures.

The mercury plunged to 11 below zero over the weekend, according to the Associated Press, which sent fire crews scrambling to respond to sprinkler pipes flooding Monday.

Thousands of gallons of water flooded Harrah's casino, the AP reported, and disabled the gamblers' den's elevator.

Two sprinkler heads burst at Harvey's casino, and water flooded the loading dock at the Horizon casino. And an antifreeze system at the MontBleu ended up freezing, according to reports.

No one was injured. No word on how long the casinos will be out of commission.
