Police were still on the scene Friday morning of an overnight shooting.

Police were investigating a shooting death in Fremont Friday morning.

The shooting was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday night on Central Avenue between Dusterberry Way and Joseph Street, police said.

The man was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound near the driveway of a home in the area. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

"There was a lot of screaming...they did a lot arguing and then it got quiet for half an hour," neighbor Christina Falcon said about the shooting.
