A big rig overturned Friday morning in Livermore, spilling fuel and debris all over a portion of Interstate Highway 580 near Vasco Road.
The California Highway Patrol closed lanes to clean up the mess near Vasco Road, which was reported about 4:15 a.m. Two other vehicles were damaged trying to avoid the wreckage, though no injuries were reported. All lanes reopened at 9:15 a.m.
On Monday, a truck carrying 60,000 pounds of bananas and jackfruit flipped over in Livermore, closing a portion of the Altamont Pass.
