“Curry” the Penguin Gets Warriors Bling

A California Academy of Sciences penguin named Curry has received his own NBA championship trophy from the Warriors.

The African penguin chick was named after Warriors star Steph Curry when he arrived at California Academy of Sciences in May.

Curry has since conducted his own Google Hangout, during which his caretaker, biologist Crystal Crumchin, revealed that he will be viewable to the public on site and via webcam in about two months once he's developed his swimming feathers.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

The Golden State Warriors dropped off some bling for furry Curry as thanks for being the best—and most effective—unofficial mascot ever! #Dubnation
