That's the second major theft of technology from a school in as many weeks, the newspaper reported -- and just as with the theft of 31 iPads and 31 laptops stolen from River Glen School on Oct. 28, there was no sign of a break-in.

Also stolen from Galarza Elementary was $30 -- donations that had been in a jar, towards a class pet, the newspaper reported.

School officials said that the computers were accounted for on Friday, meaning the theft happening over the weekend or on the Veterans Day holiday on Monday.

The school district received $70,000 to replace the technology stolen from River Glen after initially saying it had no plans or funds to do so.
