Alcatraz is haunted. Here's proof.
A British couple say they've taken a photo of what appears to be a ghost inside an Alcatraz cell while visiting the famed San Francisco tourist attraction in April, according to the Daily Mail.
Tourist Sheila Sillery-Walsh snapped a shot of a cell usijng her iPhone -- and in the frame is what she calls a "dark female figure," the newspaper reported.
She says she felt a feeling of fear and foreboding as soon as she stepped onto the island. During the audio tour, she photographed the visitation block, she said.
When she looked at the photo, she saw what she now says is a ghost. When she looked at what she had photographed -- there was nothing.
Sillery-Walsh's partner, Paul Rice, who was on the tour with her, thinks something supernatural is afoot indeed.

"I do think that the woman in the photo is a ghost," he said, by way of "her" clothes and hair, all of a different era.
