A young Richmond girl's Monday morning started with a wild ride with a suspected car thief.
The girl was in the back seat of her's dad's Cadillac sedan at a gas station when someone in a Dodge Caravan pulled up, hopped into the Cadillac and took off with the car -- girl included -- as the dad went in to pay for gas.
Cops found the young girl few miles away from the gas station about 15 minutes later. They found the Cadillac abandonded about a quarter-mile away.
No arrests have been made yet. The police say it's likely the car thieves didn't know there was a kid in the car when they took off with it but they are treating the case a kidnapping.
