A glider pilot suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon when he overshot the runway at the Sonoma Skypark public airport, the Sonoma County Sheriff's office said.
The incident was reported at 1:18 p.m., sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum said.
The Skypark is located at 21870 8th St. East and roads in the area are closed, Crum said.
Most of the glider landed in a field but a wing was extending over a lane on the road, Crum said.
