Golden Gate Park's peaceful escape from the San Francisco city life may be in jeopardy.
Park officials say 200 young trees at the park have been destroyed in the last nine months. Authorities say vandals are snapping the tops of the trees.
Vandalized trees likely die or have to pulled because the structure is compromised.
